DaVinci Award, Houghton Elementary School, Michigan. Broadcasting from the human body, this team had a unique take on what a radio broadcast could be. A morning show in the brain, roving reporters giving updates on a germ infestation and a weather report on the fever, all tied together into an engrossing story about an injured skier fighting off infection. This team wove in a hysterical commercial, set “Downtown in the colon,” and even managed to tie the Improv headline into the story. It was a truly creative and risky way to think of a radio broadcast, and paid off in a humorous, amazing performance! |
